Accounts Receivable

Our AR team is responsible for managing the financial transactions related to patient
and insurance billing. We will ensure timely and accurate collection of payments, monitor outstanding balances,
and work proactively to reduce aging accounts.

Scope of Services:

  1. Insurance Claim Management

    • Prepare, submit, and track dental insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Follow up on unpaid, delayed, or denied claims.

    • File appeals for denied claims and resolve discrepancies with insurance companies.
       

  2. Payment Posting & Reconciliation

    • Post insurance and patient payments accurately to the appropriate accounts using the Client’s dental practice management software.

    • Reconcile daily payments against bank deposits and reports.

    • Identify and correct payment posting errors or adjustments.
       

  3. Patient Billing & Collections

    • Generate and send patient statements.

    • Follow up with patients regarding outstanding balances via phone, email, or mail.

    • Establish and manage payment plans when applicable.
       

  4. AR Reporting & Monitoring

    • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable aging report to maintain low AR days.

    • Prepare regular AR status reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.

    • Identify trends or issues in collections and recommend solutions.
       

  5. Insurance Verification Support (as needed)

    • Assist with verifying insurance eligibility and benefits for scheduled patients.

    • Coordinate with the front office to ensure accurate data collection for billing.
       

  6. Compliance & Confidentiality

    • Ensure all billing and collections practices comply with HIPAA regulations and applicable laws.

    • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and practice information.
